Endangered Species

The Javan Gibbon has been classified as critically endangered species. It is a very sensitive species related to land cover changing around their habitats. It means the Javan Gibbon will be extinct in the near future and requires urgent action to inhibit extinction process and promote it's survival.

2014 Appalachian Pastel Society National Exhibition

I'm thrilled to announce my painting "Jack" was chosen for Honorable Mention Award at the 2014 Appalachian Pastel Society National Exhibition at Highlands, NC. Got a beautiful set of Diane Townsend Artist's Pastels. Thank you to Suzy Hart, all other staff members and Stan Sperlak, this year's juror.

A beautiful Boston Terrier I wanted to paint when I saw the first photo of him. I hope once I can meet him and his owner in reality. Thank you Dianne Deal for giving me the kind permission to use the photo of Jack for the painting.
